If I were the Indigenous people of Australia, I will forgive the Australian government..... Everyone must have done wrong in their life although it is only once..... But, I won't forget what they had done to my society..... because it has affected our life especially as a nuclear family..
I would forgive the government if I were the Indigenous, yet, it would be half-hearted. Some of my heart do want to forgive them, but some don't want... As a mother, I will never forget the pain when I loose and can't raise my children, although they may be well-raised by the government.
On the other hand, I greatly appreciate Kevin Rudd for his bravery to say sorry to Indigenous people of Australia...
Ines (11409018) if I were an indigenous australian, I will certainly forgive the government, because people-in this case the government-always made mistakes, and as a good-behaved person I will give them a chance to apologize and started a new life with peace and promise(black on white) not to steal the indegenous children again. VICTOR SAMUEL K (11409006) if I were an indigenous Australian, I will forgive the government, because I believe that my God had given His favor and His apologizing to me, so I must forgive them, although the government never ask to forgive their fault
I don't think I can forgive the government that easily if I were the indigenous. I mean, seriously, they took our children for so many years and then just say sorry like that. The word 'sorry' is not enough and it is easily said. Duh!
if i were the indigenous australian, i will forgive the government. eventhough i dislike what they have done but they already asked sorry and they were wrong.
Juwita, (11409003) I think maybe I'll forgive the government but the government must to promise to the indigenous people that they do not repeat again and also hold their promise seriously.
besides that, I really proud and give great appreciate for Kevin Rudd's bravery to said sorry, because I think it's very difficult to do that.
If I were an indigenous people, I will try to think positive. Because I can't give better educations for them, I am expect that they will get a better life for their future (educations)from the government. If my children success, so it's make me proud too...

I think the governments have done both right and wrong decision. The government took the indigenous Australian’s children, separated them from their parents, made them couldn’t inherited the values in their cultures and traditions. In the other hand, the governments have taken care and nurtured the children. The governments also have apologized to the indigenous. Therefore, if I were the indigenous, at first I couldn’t forget what the governments have done. However, I will forgive them because anyhow they have already nurtured our children well and apologized to us. I appreciate that.
